Holefield Commemoration
Due to the covid situation, the planned celebrations at Holefield to commemorate the birth of W.H. Ogilvie had to be severley curtailed . However on Friday 21st August 2020 a small contingent of us from Well Road Productions and representatives of the ex Kelso Laddies Association gathered ( socially distanced) at the Stone where Jim Chisholm, Irene Chisholm, Ronne Fleming and David Grant recited a poem together with a newly discovered one read by Charlie Robertson who oversaw the procedings. Ex Kelso Laddie Gordon Little laid a posy of flowers and a toast to Will of rare Islay Whisky was made. In spite of very blustery and changeable conditions the event proved top be a great success.
